A handsome tailored 20th century large English Country George III-style bookcase cabinet or Bibliotheque finished in warm honey-toned pine wood. The two-piece design features a crowning molded cornice above a three-door upper case with decorative astragal glazed glass. The lower section contains three large paneled cupboards opening to shelved storage. The case is support by shaped bracket feet. The natural pine surface shows beautiful natural knotting and grain movement throughout. The upper shelves and lower paneled cupboards provide generous storage space. The cupboards are fitted with round patinated brass-toned pulls. Suitable for holding books, dishes, glassware, ceramics, or linens. The cabinet has solid joinery with intricate carved details on the doors and moldings. The construction and craftsmanship are impressive having a tidy fit and finish. The pine has a desirable aged patina as seen in photos that showcase the rich woodgrains.
