This exquisite sterling silver bracelet showcases an authentic Roman bronze coin featuring the likeness of Emperor Maxentius. Maxentius, born as Marcus Aurelius Valerius Maxentius around 276 AD, held the position of Roman Emperor from 306 to 312. He was the son of the former Emperor Maximian and the son-in-law of Emperor Galerius.During the latter part of his reign, Maxentius became embroiled in a civil war. He formed an alliance with Maximinus II to stand against Licinius and Constantine. However, Maxentius faced defeat at the Battle of the Milvian Bridge in 312. During the battle, with his army in retreat, it is said that Maxentius tragically perished by drowning in the Tiber River. The coin set in this sterling silver bracelet serves as a tangible link to the reign and turbulent times of Emperor Maxentius. It offers a glimpse into the historical context of his rule and the significant events that unfolded during his tenure as Roman Emperor.
