The Beaumont bracelet is an authentic antique bracelet from the Victorian Era, circa 1860. The ring centers a cabochon-cut turquoise on an 18kt Yellow gold bangle. The turquoise is surrounded by a halo of 15 Old Mine Cut diamonds with two additional Old Mine Cut diamonds set next to the center cluster. An additional 94 rose-cut diamonds are bead-set in a swirling pattern around the face of the bangle. All of the diamonds combine for approximately 2.70 carats of I-J-K color, VS-SI. The bangle is painted with white enamel and intricately detailed gold scrolling patterns. The stones are all set in a two-tone 18kt yellow gold and silver bangle setting. The bangle measures 7.5 inches.
An intricate and rare piece of history, the Beaumont bracelet is an artful interpretation of Victorian trends. In the 19th century, Queen Victoria popularized the use of turquoise in jewelry after gifting her ladies-in-waiting rings surrounded with turquoise cabochons. Enamel-use in jewelry was also resurrected in the Victorian period after long being out-of-fashion. This bangle combines quintessential 19th century design elements with gorgeous Old Mine Cut and Rose Cut diamonds to create an incredibly unique and dramatic bracelet fit for a modern queen. A one-of-a-kind historic treasure and homage to the Victorian era.
