All of our candles are made with cotton wicks to ensure they have a clean, even burn. We recommend trimming the wick of your candle to ¼ inch before each burn to ensure a cleaner, safer, and longer lasting burn.Trimming wicks:▪ Reduces soot and smoke by preventing the flame from becoming too large.▪ Improves burn quality by controlling the flame, which prevents the candle from tunneling or going out.▪ Extends candle life by creating a slower, more even burn.▪ Increases safety by reducing the size of the flame, which prevents the candle from becoming too hot.Additionally, do not burn your candles for more than four hours at a time to ensure the glass does not become too hot creating a safety hazard.
