Turn-of-the-century French sideboard/buffet crafted from carved black walnut with burl walnut veneer accents. Designed in a distinctive “hunter” style, the piece is beautifully detailed with a hand-carved bird (grouse) motif crowning the upper section.It does have a few condition issues to note. The tabletop shows evidence of past water exposure and has slight warping. Age-appropriate natural wood separation is visible on the upper section.
