Kelim Jewelry is designed by Meral Sartekin and her husband, Halil. Born in a rural village in Turkey, Meral moved to Switzerland to study abroad. There she met Halil, began a family, and started designing the Kelim Jewelry line. They are inspired by the beautiful patterns in their native Turkey\'s traditional carpets and the natural beauty of their adopted country of Switzerland. Kelim Jewelry collaborates between Meral, Halil, and their nephew Gultekin and is handcrafted in Istanbul, Turkey, from sterling silver and fine silver.
