HOT ! Marlene Ankle Boot - Oxblood - Antiqued

Marlene Ankle boot is one of my favourite styles ever. The Marlene last (which is the mold we stretch the leather over and gives each shoe its unique shape) was designed to be a modern take on a very classic 1930\'s shape - with a slightly militaristic feel. We\'ve taken this classic shape and made the toe slightly bulbous and the tiniest bit asymmetrical. This design was conceived exactly as it eventually materialized - a very rare occurrence - as usually there is a lot of organic design process involved - I hope you agree that this is just the perfect bootie! I love the curved Cuban style heel that has become a signature Preston Zly motif and the simple circular side elastic. Simplicity at it\'s best - sometimes less is definitely more.

We are offering this style in two classic colourways - winter white and antiqued and distressed oxblood for those of you who like a classic winter palette. Then we\'ve added two amazing colour pops - metallic green and metallic pink - both distressed and antiqued for depth and so they don\'t look like Christmas tree baubles. Metallic leathers are notoriously difficult to work with and maintain – the antiquing process takes the risk out of the maintenance of these leathers as all you need to do is simply polish them with black nugget! Perfect splashes of colour for our (we hope) post Covid re-entry into the world and celebrations!
