Apax Labs is a projected created by Simon Gautherin, a professional in the coffee industry who dedicated 6 years to studying water in coffee. 

Included in each set are 3 bottles of different water mineral profiles, simply add these profiles to distilled water in your kettle and use the water to brew with.

APAX Coffee Mineral Concentrates are made of demineralised water and analytical reagent grade minerals (AR), ensuring very high levels of purity. APAX LAB aims at pushing the boundaries of coffee brewing and has been designed to ease the water making process, equipping every coffee enthusiast with the tools to reach coffee climax.

Minerals are to brewing water what seasoning is to food, they elevate the overall flavours and can turn a good coffee into an exceptional one..These concentrates have been designed to be versatile and enhance specific attributes. Why brew with mineralised water?

Water is one of two ingredients that makes up pour over coffee, in fact water makes up 95% of the entire drink and is often the most overlooked variable when it comes to brewing.

While most tap water in Melbourne is of an acceptable mineral content to make pour over coffee, it certainly isn\'t the \'best\' water to use and without mineralising your own water you don\'t have the control to change how your coffee tastes using water minerals.

Think of water minerals like seasoning: When you cook a meal majority of the flavour comes from the ingredients, the freshness and quality of your ingredients play a huge roll in how your dish tastes. How To Use Apax Lab Water Minerals:

Brew Water Mineralisation

We recommend using demineralised or low-mineral content water. For every litre of water, incorporate 3 to 4 grams of APAX LAB mineral concentrate. This method guarantees a more uniform and duplicable base, ensuring seamless integration of the minerals.

Post Brewing Mineralisation

Optimise your coffee\'s flavours by adding APAX LAB mineral concentrate directly to the cup. This method delivers immediate notable results.

Filter (200mL): 5 to 10 dropsEspresso (40mL): 1 to 3 dropsMilk-Based (150mL): 3 to 6 drops
