CARVING: It is carved jade in the form of Pi Xiu, a Chinese mythological dragon lion that brings wealth to its wearer. In mythology, it is known to eat only gold, silver, and wealth - thus Pi Xiu, thus is considered an auspicious symbol for wealth attraction for anyone who possesses it.

JADE COLOR: This particular piece has great green tones. It is slightly semi-translucent stone and allows light to shine through when held against the light or sun. This allows for a \"glowing effect\" when light reflects on the stone, which is beautiful under natural sunlight. This is a premium quality in jadeite jade.
