Copper Strand Necklace - Line Hook Series is an original piece of jewelry by Linsday Mis. This necklace is hand fabricated with forged copper. It would make a stunning addition to any outfit.

Materals & Care

This necklace is made from forged copper, woven kite cord, and ruby beads. Metal naturally patinas when it comes into contact with oxygen and skin oils. Either embrace it and let it tarnish or wipe it clean with a tarnish cloth.

About the Artist

Lindsay Miś is longtime New Bedford artist. Lindsay Mis serves as Executive Director to Massachusetts Design, Art & Technology Institute, DATMA, following her time at the Society of Arts + Crafts where she was the Director of CraftBoston. She has also worked at peer art institutions such as New Bedford Art Museum, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Deer Ise, ME, and the Visual Art Center of Richmond, VA. Miś received her MFA in Jewelry/Metals from UMass Dartmouth and her BFA in Craft/Material Studies from VCU. Mis serves her community by means of public art and feeds her soul by making art, often in the form of jewelry and sculpture. She maintains her metalsmithing practice at Hatch Street Studios in studio 309 with her inspiring friends.
