Welsh Dragon....

The Dragon is the national emblem of Wales. The Welsh Dragon is a heraldic symbol that appears on the national flag of Wales. The oldest recorded use of the dragon to symbolise Wales is in the Historia Brittonum, written around AD 829, but it is popularly supposed to have been the battle standard of King Arthur and other ancient Celtic leaders

The red dragon is often used to show a sense of patriotism or recognition with Wales.

This seal would have been used to secure private documents and dates from the early Victorian period. The pendant is made by hand using this seal and Sterling silver.

Perfect for those who want to express their allegiance to the Welsh or who have Welsh ancestry.

Sizing.......

This seal measures 19mm across the centre. This may vary slightly however because each piece is handmade.

The chain on this bracelet is 3mm rolo/belcher chain.

The Amulet and bracelet are both 100% sterling silver and the back of the Amulet is stamped .925

Each link is soldered shut to help prevent losing your SWALK original.

Wax Seal Jewelry......

Each piece offered for sale is an imprint or cast of an antique wax seal from my personal collection. I use 100% sterling silver as this has the strength and durability needed for a piece of jewelry that is to be worn for years. All the jumps rings, clasps etc, are also sterling silver and each part is soldered, also for strength and durability. My intention is to make a piece that could become an heirloom too and for it to last generations.

Each piece is individually handmade and therefore no two pieces will be exactly the same, they will however be extremely similar. The mark of the maker has been purposely left on the casts. The signs of age, cracks and tool marks all add to the charm of the piece and are an intentional feature.
