This is a vintage Turkish wool kilim, handwoven using traditional flat-weave techniques from Anatolia. The design features a striking central diamond pattern in mirrored formation, crafted in soft sky blue, burnt orange, and ivory tones. Each diamond has intricate hooked motifs and geometric floral forms, symbolising protection and abundance.

The field is framed by a rich chestnut and ivory checkered border that enhances symmetry. At the same time, the top and bottom ends are finished with multicoloured tribal guard bands adorned with stylised rosettes and symbolic motifs in rust, ochre, and pale blue.

Its beautifully aged patina and subtle irregularities reflect the authenticity and craftsmanship of Turkish village weaving, making it a bold and timeless statement piece for any interior.
