Originating from the grasslands of Cameroon, this Bamileke King Stool is a striking example of African artistry. Hand-carved from a single block of wood by the Bamileke people, these stools were traditionally used by tribal chiefs during ceremonial events.

The intricate openwork design is inspired by the earth spider, a sacred symbol of celestial wisdom and a believed link between the living and ancestral spirits.
