Detailed information on Marshall University Campus Map Medium Blanket

Blanket is 45\" wide x 60\" long. Permanent ink printed on 100% polyester minky fabric, washing instructions on the back. Blanket comes in a clear bag made of plant-based polylactic acid and is certified compostable.

From the artist: \"I started working on the map in April. I studied maps, walked the campus, and researched to add details accurately. After weeks of preliminary sketches, I re-drew everything in permanent black ink, and then painted in watercolor. [...] With this project, I\'m combining my love of creating art with my desire to support educators doing the best job they can. The profits from the sale of all the products will go to the Cabell County Schools Foundation [who] support Cabell County teachers through grants.\"

Art by Linda was created in 2012 when I quit my teaching job (after 32 years) to become an artist...even though I had NO IDEA what kind of art I was going to do! I started making stamped metal necklaces and studying cookie art online. By February 2013, I started my little cookie business selling Valentine\'s Day cookies, and soon I was studying cake art and expanding my business in that direction, too. Painting has my attention now with a focus on watercolor, pastel, and acrylic paintings.
