Inspired by the poet Kahlil Gibran\'s poem \'On Children\', this double layer muslin is an exploration of the relationship between parent and child. Hand illustrated and painted by Forivor\'s Alice Ruby Ross, this special muslin contemplates Gibran\'s beautiful poem.
\'You may house their bodies but not their souls, For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams. You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you. For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.\'
The artwork has been printed onto an antique paper coloured muslin and has fringed edging.
Crafted from lightweight, breathable organic cotton muslin, this large blanket is perfect for both babies and children. Whether used as a cosy layer for naps, a soft surface for play, a post-swim towel, or a summer picnic companion, it’s designed to be loved and used again and again.
Our blankets are designed to bring moments of gentle calm to family life - moments when children and their parents can immerse themselves in the detail and that are both rich in learning about our wonderful planet and nurture creative storytelling.
