This elegant razor is perfect for the novice just getting his feet as well as the expert looking for a great addition to his den. The blade is 5/8\" which is great for general beard growth removal and clear of markings which contributes to the clean lines. The full hollow grind and carbon steel is often preferred for its audible feedback. You can hear the blade \"sing\" as you are getting a BBS shave. However, care must be taken in maintaining this utensil as the carbon steel can rust. Rinse with clear water after use and keep it dry. (Some would even encourage a swipe with the towel between passes.) Always store in a well-ventilated area. And as long as you are embracing the straight blade, you might as well grab a good strop and learn the art of sharpening your newly acquired steel!

The WCS logo is etched on one side of the tang and the reverse side boast \"Handmade Solingen Germany\" so you know you are getting a quality product. The tang and spine are oxidized for a unique black finish and the jimps on the underside of the tang provide an excellent grip. The scales are created of horn. This material has long been used in the manufacturing of handles. Give your shave a traditional look with this horn handle. Each blade comes \"shave ready\" in a beautiful Black Nappa leather sheath to protect your investment.

To Return an Item:

  All returns and exchanges must be pre-authorized by a WCS representative. Contact us at contact@westcoastshaving.com to speak to a Customer Service Representative to receive your return instructions.

  To obtain your refund, the item must be returned to us within 365 days of purchase, in new, unused condition (for sanitary purposes), in the original packaging, same condition as sold, with tamper-proof seals unbroken, if present, and with all literature and factory seals in place.
