Cup like a pro!

Cupping is the term we give to a method of tasting coffee in the coffee industry. It\'s a great way to analyse coffee and to learn more about aroma and flavour attributes. It can also be pretty informative, interactive and sociable!

Our team will lead you through a table of coffees where you get to use all of your senses to experience coffee like you never have before! It\'s a taster for our SCA Sensory Skills Class if you want to start training your palate. Otherwise it\'s just a fun experience with some others that enjoy doing the same!

Test your palate, calibrate your experiences with a group of fellow tasters, enjoy the experience of being in the Dear Green coffee roastery and leave with a bag of coffee to do it all over again at home!

Our cupping experience lasts for 1.5 hours and is for a maximum of 10 people.

What to expect:

- Lots of sipping and slurping.- Information shared about coffee origins, processes, roast profiles.- A guided tasting experience of coffee from various producers and origins.- An introduction to quality control tasting protocols.- An opportunity to meet our team and ask us anything!- A bag of beans to take home with you, a Dear Green branded cupping spoon and flavour wheel!

Please note: Cancellation is only permitted 7 days prior to the commencement of the experience. No refund will be issued for non-attendance. Tickets are valid for one year after purchase.
