On the Big Island of Hawaii just south of Kona lies Ka’u, a region known for black sand beaches, snow-capped Mauna Loa, and the majestic Kīlauea Volcano within Halemaʻumaʻu crater. This region is also the home to exceptional coffee that grows just south of Kīlauea at 2300 ft elevation in soil rich with nutrients from volcanic ash. There are only 500 acres of coffee farming in this region, making this microlot extra special. The coffee cherries are hand-harvested, ensuring they are at peak ripeness for the perfect cup of Hawaiian coffee.
