Originally designed in 1957 for tram drivers in Turin, Italy, these sunglasses rose to fame when Marcello Mastroianni wore them in the 1961 film Divorce, Italian Style. Softly teardrop-shaped lenses pair beautifully with the acetate frame and keyhole bridge. And in this bold primary color scheme—red-and-yellow tortoiseshell offset by light blue—the shades have a certain life-of-the-party appeal. On the sides, you’ll find Persol’s signature arrow barrel hinges.
