Black textured nylon Cole of California corset front bathing suit, circa 1950s vintage.Plunging V- neckline with self lacing front, seamed panel construction.Lower U- back with adjustable button straps at the shoulders.Sits low on the hips.Interior t support seam padded bra cups, which are lace lined, cotton trim along the outer chest sides and along the strap interiors.Entire crotch area in lined in black satiny nylon weave, the rest the suit is unlined.Outer is matte, with a bit of sheerness to the fabric, as shown.While modest by today\'s standards, this was quite risqué in the 1950s!Condition:Super clean inside and out.The elastic underneath the padded bra supports is shot, from age not wear; given the construction of the suit, if your breasts fit in the cups, they aren\'t going anywhere, but worth noting.Very, very slight pilling along the undermost butt area, see photo.Slight straining to some of the full length seams- all of which are tight and holding firmly.All elastic (along the U back and leg holes) is still elastic and well functioning.In very, very good overall condition - scarce era and style from Cole - still quite wearable for a modern day bombshell!Measurements:for handy reference- the mannequin shown is 32.5\" at the chest, 24\" at the waist and 35\" at the hips- the suit fits \"her\" well.I\'d estimate this for a modern US 0- 2 or smallish 4.(please allow for some give to the measurements as needed)16\" across the fullest part of the chest6\" along the inside center of each cup area10\" across the waist14\" across the hips (at widest point)7\" across the leg holes (with give to 10\"26\" length
