The SUB 200 II marks a confident evolution of DOXA’s emblematic dive watch, introducing a fumé dial to the permanent collection for the first time. Its gradient surface darkens toward the edge, enhanced by a subtle moiré finish that creates depth and dynamic light interaction while preserving the clarity and balance intrinsic to the SUB design.
Crafted from high-grade 316L stainless steel, the 44.00 mm case is refined to a slimmer 12.80 mm profile for balanced wrist presence and comfort. A unidirectional rotating bezel with a lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminum insert ensures durability and precise legibility. Water-resistant to 20 ATM (200 meters / 656 feet), the watch is equipped with a scratch-resistant, anti-reflective domed sapphire crystal in classic “glass box” construction.
In addition to black, gray, blue, and green fumé dials, the collection introduces a striking black DLC version paired with a deep Redcoral dial. This dense, expressive red reveals shifting nuances in changing light while maintaining strong contrast and functionality.
Powered by a Swiss automatic movement with approximately 38 hours of power reserve, the SUB 200 II is available on a stainless steel \"Mesh\" bracelet or a rubber Dive flex strap, uniting professional performance with urban refinement.

History of DOXA Watches
DOXA, founded in 1889 by Georges Ducommun in Le Locle, Switzerland, has a rich history of watchmaking innovation. Initially gaining recognition for its pocket watches and dashboard clocks, DOXA\'s defining moment came in 1967 with the introduction of the SUB 300 dive watch. This groundbreaking timepiece, featuring an iconic orange dial, unique no-decompression bezel, and purpose-built design for recreational divers, quickly became a benchmark in the industry. Notably, in collaboration with Rolex and the introduction of the Sea-Dweller, DOXA co-developed the now-common helium escape valve concept, adding another feather in its cap as a true diver’s tool in its day. DOXA\'s reputation was further enhanced by its association with Jacques-Yves Cousteau and its frequent appearance in Clive Cussler\'s adventure novels.
Despite facing challenges during the quartz crisis, DOXA experienced a resurgence after its acquisition by the Jenny family in 1997. Today, the brand continues to honor its diving heritage while embracing modern watchmaking techniques. DOXA\'s journey from a small Swiss workshop to a globally recognized dive watch manufacturer demonstrates its enduring commitment to innovation, quality, and functionality. The brand\'s iconic designs, particularly the SUB series, remain popular among diving enthusiasts and watch collectors alike, cementing DOXA\'s place in horological history.
