Late 19th Century Louis XV Style French Gilt Armchair. Reupholstered in a beautiful stripy fabric. Solid carved beech frame with gesso and gilding throughout. Strong and sturdy frame with a sprung seat. Very hard and heavy wood. Great 

This Louis XV chair makes a real statement wherever it is placed and is also very comfortable.

Light untug in one of the corners of the fabric, though hardly noticeable.
