HOT ! Mid-Century English Georgian Wingback Upholstered Armchair

A handsome bespoke mid-century wingback chair crafted in the English Georgian taste. The chair features a hump shaped crest with rolled ears and large extended side wings. The straight arms and back are further enhanced by the cylindrical shaped arm and wing scrolled ends. The fabric is decorated with a geometric quatrefoil silver and gold pattern over a grey background. The frames have a high back in a classical English fireside form with scrolled arms measuring 27.25 inches high. The legs are executed in a refined carved cabriole form in a mahogany tone, showing some Queen Anne-style influence. The chair is sturdy and comfortable with excellent joinery and craftsmanship.
