HOT ! Vintage 60s Paper Dress Hallmark Floral Muumuu Deadstock M – New in Package

Such a scarce find is this colorful vintage paper dress of “Island Paradise Sleeveless Muumuu” by Hallmark – never opened and still in its original packaging from the 1960s.

The modernist deadstock paper dress remains folded in its cardboard packing with most of the shrink-wrap still intact, and consists of a Hawaiian style sleeveless muumuu dress in colors of pink, green, red, turquoise, and white as shown on the cover and back of the package (see pics). 

*PLEASE NOTE – Although it is labeled a size ‘Large 16-18’, a 1960s size of 16-18 would be considered a “Medium” today, or have an approximate bust size of 36 to 38 inches.

The front of the package include “Sleeveless Muumuu with ruffle around neck”, “Perfect for Luaus”, “Shorten with scissors” and “Press with cool iron” – while the back includes suggestions for ‘dressing up’ the dress with trim.

The fabric content provided is “80% Cellulose, 20% Cotton” (see close-up pic), along with a fabric care warning and “Made in U.S.A.”.
