HOT ! Tree of Seasons Matryoshka Nesting Doll

This new translation of the traditional Russian matryoshka doll features five hand-painted linden wood trees that nest inside one another, each representing a distinct season, from bare winter branches to bold autumn colors. Tiny details such as birds, foxes and snails heighten the magical, folkloric ambiance. Because the Tree of Seasons Russian Matryoshka Nesting Doll is hand-turned and painted in Russia by traditional matryoshka masters, each is a unique work of art and there will be minor variations in detail from item to item. Nested, the trees measure from the tallest tree 7h x 4.15” diam. From the series of SECRETS projects by COMPANY, a Helsinki two-person design team that travels around the world to find great manufacturers of local products and collaborate with them. The Tree of Seasons Matryoshka Nesting Doll is designed in Finland and made in Russia.
