The finish on these beautiful chairs has aged to a lovely multi-toned, golden brown. The \'Yoke-Back\' (or sometimes \'lamphanger\') name derives from the shape of the top rails and the pronounced curves. The chair arms have a subtle \'S\' shape and extend over the front supporting posts, which fit through the seats to form the chairs\' front legs. The backsplats are unusually formed with three panels fitted between two curved posts rather than with a single full length panel. An ideal addition in a hallway or reception room. Sold as a pair, the price shown is for the two chairs.
