HOT ! 1960s Tal Saunders Ritz Carlton Zig-Zag Party Dress

Late 1960s/70s party dress with a v-neck stretchy long sleeve bodice and white taffeta skirt with zig-zag black stripes comprised of a velvety nap creating one dynamic dimensional design! Tal Saunders (or Tat Saunders– the T or L  on the tag are up for interpretation and the internet seems split) was a high-end boutique that started in the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Boston in the 50s, eventually expanding to 4 other Ritz Carltons including Watch Hill and Palm Beach. Known for carrying custom couture as well as designer, the proprietor Tal was renowned for her keen eye and use of premium fabrics. This dress strikes me as late 60s early 70s, but could be earlier. A fine specimen, classic with a fun funky twist. Oh, and did i mention it has POCKETS?!

Waist: 28\"- 30\" (could be belted smaller)

Bodice Length (shoulder to waist) 17\"

Skirt Length: 28\"

Condition: Excellent. Dress has large belt loops, but no belt. Add your own or cut them off, silhouette works fine without.
