Known as sweetheart bracelets, expansion bracelets originated during the Victorian era and became extra popular during the first and second world wars when departing American soldiers would give these bracelets to their sweethearts as a token of their love. This one is gold-filled and features a beautiful engraved flower scene in it\'s center heart - with the letter \'S\' Engraved. The backside of the heart is engraved with H.H- S.G. (most likely the names of the original \'sweethearts\')
