Paola Trujillo is a young and passionate coffee producer from Patio Bonito Farm, an 11-hectare property nestled at 1570 MASL in Pescador, northern Cauca. Working alongside her parents, María Ángela and Carlos, Paola has become known for her dedication to innovation and quality, producing exceptional coffees that reflect both her technical skill and deep family roots in coffee farming.

This lot showcases the rare and captivating Wush Wush variety, originally from Ethiopia and now thriving in Colombia’s lush highlands. Paola and her team handpick only the ripest cherries before a 32-hour anaerobic fermentation enhances sweetness and complexity. The coffee is then pulped, fermented for an additional 12 hours, and dried carefully on raised beds.

We cupped this Wush Wush alongside another of Paola’s lots earlier this year in Colombia, and both impressed us with their vibrancy and clarity. We’re thrilled to have secured them and look forward to many more harvests from Paola and her family.
